If you’re brand new here, welcome.

As a freshly launched resource, I realize we are unknown and untested in a sea of information. While only time will allow us to prove ourselves, I wanted to start by sharing a bit more insight into what you can expect to find at Future of Assets.

Our Focus

At its core, Future of Assets is about community: connecting people who care deeply about asset-intensive work and its impact. The content you will find here is designed to support shared learning, thoughtful exchange, and practical insight through writing, conversations and reflection. While exact formats may evolve over time, you can expect to find:

  • Thoughtful, easy-to-consume blogs: These blogs are designed to meet you where you are: navigating real-world complexity. They explore timely topics in asset management, leadership, and technology without oversimplifying or overloading. They are intentionally approachable and grounded in curiosity.
  • In-depth articles: Some topics require more space for reflection. In our in-depth articles, we dig deeper into the forces shaping our industry. They draw connections between technology, people, history and strategy. If you want context, not headlines, and you appreciate thoughtful analysis grounded in real experience, these are for you.
  • Featured Interviews: Interviews sit at the heart of Future of Assets. These are real conversations with people shaping the future through practice, not scripted soundbites by media-trained spokespeople. Read stories from leaders, practitioners, and thinkers across industries as they reflect on what they've learned, the challenges they've faced, and how they're approaching what comes next.
  • Videos: Videos bring ideas to life in a more direct, interactive way. They are often reflections: on a conversation I had, an event I visited, a trend I'm observing or a question I keep coming back to. No matter the topic, the intent is always the same: to offer clarity and relevance on topics you care most about.
  • A monthly podcast: Assets UNSCRIPTED, our monthly podcast, offers dynamic conversations with leaders in assets, maintenance, operations, reliability and engineering. Discussions offer a thoughtful exploration of topics ranging from strategy and technology to leadership and personal growth, always centered on what the guest is most passionate about sharing.
  • Most importantly, community: Above all, Future of Assets is about community. We aim to serve as a resource to connect people who care deeply about their work and its impact; to create space for dialogue, learning and reflection. The strength of our platform lies in the people who come to learn, exchange ideas and grow together.

What We Aren’t

Staying true to the purpose of Future of Assets means being clear about what it is not. With that in mind, here’s a list of what you won’t find at Future of Assets:

  • All future-focused: While we’re always looking ahead with the goal of keeping you well-informed and abreast of what’s coming, we’re conscious that most leaders also need help solving today’s challenges. The future matters, but only when it is grounded in reality, lived experience and lessons from the past.
  • All tech-oriented: Technology is a critical part of the conversation, but never the full story. We like to look at mindset, leadership and culture alongside tools and platforms, because assets are managed by people, not just software.
  • All fluff: This is not a space for forced optimism or media-trained narratives. We focus on open conversations, real-world challenges and continuous learning.
  • All speed: You won't find hot take after hot take here; we prioritize depth over speed and context over clicks. Future of Assets strives to create room for thoughtful exploration and continuous learning rather than immediate reactions.
  • All broadcast: Future of Assets is not about talking at an audience. This platform exists for you, because of you. This platform exists to create space for dialogue and the exchange of ideas and aims to bring together a community of people who want to learn with – and from – each other.
